CONGRATULATIONS TO CHERRIE FROM CALIFORNIA WHO WON MY LATEST CONTEST!

And to Jodi from Colorado, Joy from Arizona and Lorraine from Cardiff who were runners up!

Because the plot of Greek Tycoon, Wayward Wife revolves around Rion’s campaign to become the leader of Metameikos, a (fictional) independent province in Greece, I asked you to email and tell me the first thing you’d do if you could rule the world for a day.

I received a fabulous array of answers – some incredibly moving and some hilarious! The winners were my four favourites….

Jodi said she’d declare an official day of writing where jobs, laundry, kids, etc...had to wait while the writing happened first – something I can totally relate to! Joy said she’d eliminate taxes everywhere (definitely a woman after my own heart!) and Lorraine had lots of really moving suggestions including freeing all hostages to reunite them with their loved ones.

Finally, Cherrie, with beautifully poignant simplicity, said she would make everyone just talk and listen to each other. I couldn’t agree more.
